The work-life balance is pretty good. Due to the nature of the utilities industry, there isn't competition so the work environment is pretty relaxing for the most part.

Working hard and listening to your managers. There's a lack of innovation in this space so working hard on your projects and showing results will have you move up.

The best thing about SCE are the pay and benefits. The relax work environment is pretty good too. The worst is that the company feels very old. They're behind on technology and the workers are also sub-par. Many are not college educated and seem to just be there to collect a paycheck. The goals of the organization are communicated, but it seems that many ignore or do not care about it.
