What did the recruiting process consist of from start to finish? (e.g. how many rounds, format of interview, how long did they last, etc.)
Interviews were exclusively behavioral-type questions. First round was 30-minutes on campus. Final round was I think 5 30-minute 1:1 interviews. I also had the opportunity to have lunch with a few other candidates and 2 full-time associates. Beyond normal behavioral questions (i.e. time you led a team, biggest strength/weaknesses, best accomplishment), many of the interviewers focused on times I used data. They would then do a bit of a deep dive and ask follow-up questions regarding data sources, how I presented it, what type of analysis I did.
What advice do you have for someone recruiting here, and how would you recommend preparing for the interviews?
A significant portion of the interview will be spent on your resume and any data or econometric analysis that you have done. Be prepared to answer very specific questions on any modeling or projects you have done.
